We decided to take advantage of our wide-open schedules lately and go up to Mt. Lemmon for a picnic.
It was nice to get out of the heat and play in the beautiful surroundings.
Miles loved it. He wouldn't let us hold him - he wanted to run everywhere.
We had a good time - despite my usual car sickness.
Caroline loves taking pictures on our phones. We take one and she says immediately, "Lemme see!"
We discovered that an easy way to stop a Miles melt-down is to take out the phone and start taking pictures. He's such a ham and says, "Chsssss!" He laughs at the first flash but always closes his eyes right after when it's actually taking the picture!

Oh my, Miles has grown! Why does it always surprise me that they grow so fast? Loved the update, and glad you got out of the heat for an afternoon. Love to all!!

I hate that we haven't been up to Mt Lemmon in years! It's wonderful up there and an escape from the heat is essential this time of year. Looks like a fun day for everyone :)
Great pictures. We really love seeing them. Miles is a "big boy." We can't wait to see the kids when we get home.

I need to find some of your "cheeeeese" pictures. When you were Miles's age, Kim and I did the same thing to you. This was before digital picture time, but you never knew if there was actual film in the camera. Just pointing it in your direction was usually enough to pull you out of a tantrum. I love that Miles has inherited that from his Mama!
